Qaroma is the flagship model from Qaroma from Malaysia. It is a pure quartz case with a specially designed gemstone chamber. Qaroma has a 100% pure quartz airway (no metal).

Qaroma is our most elaborate design. It’s perfect for taste/aroma hunters who also appreciate Qaroma’s intricate design and aesthetic value. It is the only Qaroma vaporizer that is semi-transparent and allows a partial view of the gemstone chamber. There is absolutely no metal in its heating air path.

Qaroma has an elevated level in its design to better stabilize and provide better coil contact. As such, it is only compatible with 20mm, 5 windings, clockwise coils.

The built-in gemstone chamber serves as airflow control and for better heat storage/recovery due to the increased total mass. You can add or mix aroma beads and/or columns in different colors and sizes, for endless combinations and possibilities. We currently only offer 3mm Ruby Aroma Pearls. Qaroma is not designed for use with an empty gemstone chamber. Do not try to overfill the gemstone chamber.

The Qaroma package is designed for an industry-standard 20mm heating coil. These are common heating coils used in household appliances such as coffee makers, etc. This is then plugged into the PID controller. Together with the Adapter Bowl, Qaroma Aroma Pearls, Stand and Coil Handle, your Qaroma DIY Kit is now complete and ready to use.

Do not modify or use modified/incompatible coils on Qaroma. For reference, our coil pinout is:

Coil (5-pin XLR connector) PIN 1 = TC-, PIN 2 = TC+, PIN 3 = GND, PIN 4 = AC-, PIN 5 = AC+

Note: If you leave the heater on for a long time, the Qaroma stand will feel like it’s touching a bowl of hot soup. However, it is safe to touch for a few seconds.

The applications for Qaroma are endless. Anyone who needs a small, ultra-clean convection heater at precise temperatures will benefit from the Qaroma. Due to its standard laboratory glassware sizes, it is very easy to adapt the Qaroma to your needs. There is really no fixed way to use the Qaroma.
